David Cook and John Cavanagh, who together have over 60 years experience in the International Aluminium Extrusion Industry, formed Anglo Aluminium early 2009.

Our mission is to help extruders maximise their potential by optimising the equipment and procedures currently being used.
The vehicle to do this is our unique 5 day “ Health Check ” which features an in-depth evaluation of the complete extrusion process from incoming billet quality through to the despatch of finished goods.

In addition to our Health Check we are able to offer a comprehensive range of services, which are detailed on our services page.

David Cook

David worked at Executive Management Level for Hydro Aluminium – Group Managing Director for 10 years as well as managing Director for Seco and Aluminium Shapes.

For the last two years David has been working as Vice President for the Press Metal Group in Malaysia.

David’s particular areas of expertise include Strategy, Human Resources, Organisation Development, Succession Planning and Process Improvements.

John Cavanagh

John has over 40 years experience in the Aluminium Extrusion Industry, working with most of the worlds best known extrusion companies. Alcan, Hydro, Alcoa Balexco and Press Metal to name but a few.

John has experience at all levels of extrusion management from operational through to senior management level. He has majored on Process Improvements and has developed a number of useful tools to facilitate this.
